Therapy & Emotional Support Dog Training and Placement
Dogs Trained Specifically For School Districts, Medical and Dental Clinics, Funeral Homes, Long Term Care Facilities, Hospitals, and for many other facilities where a therapy dog could be beneficial.
”Therapy and Emotional Support Dog Handlers have a couple options when it comes to the training or placement of a therapy dog.
Option 1:
If you want to become a Therapy Dog Handler or you are in need of a Emotional support dog (ESA) and you do not currently have a dog that you feel would be a good candidate for the this program, don’t worry because we have you covered.
On Command K-9 Academy will place you with a specially trained therapy or Emotional Support dog that are specifically selected for our therapy and ESA dog training program.
To enroll in this program, all you have to do is call us at 417.438.0003.
At that time we will schedule a time for you to come into our training facility to meet a dog that was specifically selected for the therapy or ESA dog program.
Once you are enrolled and you have selected a therapy or ESA dog, your training as a therapy or ESA dog handler begins.
The Therapy or ESA dog training program is a 16 week course of knowledge and skill based training that is specifically related to, volunteering your services as a therapy dog handler for your community or simply a paid employee responsible for handling a therapy dog for your facility, or for those that just need an Emotional Support dog for companionship.
Therapy Dogs and ESA Dogs enable hope and can turn a person’s bad day into the best day.
Therapy or ESA Dog Placement and Handler Training Fees:
$2800.00 Placement & Training Fee
Option 2:
This option is for handlers who have a dog that they already have possession of that they would like to train as a therapy dog or an Emotional Support Dog.
